Community Clash Poker Tournament

What is Community Clash?

Community Clash is a poker tournament where communities from different projects compete against each other. The tournament takes place on the Cryptopolis Discord server. Discord provides the ability to organize tournaments using pokernow.club, which allows players to participate using their Discord account.

How do I join?

Great to hear that you want to participate! The tournament is organized on the Cryptopolis Discord server. Follow the steps below to participate:

Verify yourself to gain access to the server.
Go to Category: Community Clash Channel: poker-tournament
Inside the channel, you will find a pokernow.club tournament link. Click on it to register yourself.
You have successfully registered yourself. The tournament will start on March 23, 7:00 PM UTC.

What are the important dates?

Depending on the number of participants at the start, there will be either one tournament or a separate final the following day. pokernow.club has a maximum capacity of 300 participants per tournament link. If there are more than 300 players, a new link will be created for the remaining participants to register.

Main Tournament - Thursday, March 23rd

Registration open: Monday 20th of March Start Tournament: Thursday, March 23rd, 07:00 PM UTC. Registration CLOSED: Directly when the tournament starts.

Final Friday - March 24th (if 300+ players)

Registration open: Thursday 23rd March, after day 1 Start Tournament: Friday, March 24th, 07:00 PM UTC. Registration CLOSED: Directly when the tournament starts.

PLEASE NOTE:

You are allowed to register only once per Discord account. If you have registered for the first tournament link and a new link is created due to more than 300 players, you are NOT allowed to register for the new link. Everyone has a fair chance by participating only once.

From when and until when can I register?

Registration for the tournament will be open from monday 20th of March, and it is recommended to register as soon as possible. The tournament will start on Thursday, March 23rd, 07:00 PM UTC. If you are not registered beforehand, you will not be able to participate in the tournament afterwards.

How many rounds are there?

Depending on the number of participants, there will either be one tournament day or one day for the tournament and one for the finals.

Less than 300 participants:

If there are fewer than 300 players, the tournament will be played until there is only one winner. 5% of the participants will win a prize.

More than 300 participants:

Since a maximum of 300 players can participate per tournament link, multiple links will be provided if there are more than 300 players on Thursday. This will ensure that everyone can participate. To give everyone an equal chance, the tournament will continue until 5% of the participants remain. All players who are in the top 5% will have qualified for the finals the next day (Friday, March 24th, 07:00 PM UTC).

Example:

Tournament 1 has 300 participants. Tournament 2 has 200 participants.

In Tournament 1, the game will continue until there are 15 players left (5%). In Tournament 2, the game will continue until there are 10 players left (5%). In total, 25 players will have qualified for the finals on Friday, March 24th, 07:00 PM UTC.

Where can I find the prize overview?

The prize overview will be announced shortly after the start of the tournament. The number of prizes is dependent on the number of participants. I have won, what should I do? Congratulations! Please open a support ticket in Cryptopolis Discord to receive your prize.
